Pardue
Manila, Philippines
Steve and Teri Pardue work in the Philippines to support the efforts of an international seminary, the Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST). AGST specializes in equipping current and future faculty, deans, Christian authors, and church leaders from around Asia (from Pakistan to Indonesia) through post-seminary degree programs (ThMs and PhDs in Theology and Biblical Studies).
Stephen teaches theology courses, and also leads the students in weekly spiritual formation meetings. In addition, Teri is involved in supporting expectant and new mothers through education and one-on-one support.
Both Steve and Terri grew up in the Philippines. They met and started dating in Manila while they were in high school. They have three children (6, 4, and 2), with one on the way.
Steve did a BA in Ancient Languages, an MA in Historical and Systematic Theology, and a PhD in Systematic Theology at Wheaton College. Teri is trained in early childhood education, and is also certified as a doula through Dona International. Steve has taught on the high school, college, and seminary levels, and Teri has been supporting women through birth and postpartum support since 2009.
They have been uniquely prepared through their various life experiences to return to the Philippines to serve the global body of Christ in a concrete way.
