Our employees are what make Christian Art Gifts a warm and inviting place to work. No matter what the task, a unified effort with a high level of respect and teamwork, is brought forth by all. This month it is our great honor to introduce you to Kelly Glancey. If you have ever contacted Christian Art Gifts, it is more than likely you had the pleasure of speaking with Kelly. Kelly has been part of the CAG family for more than 10 years and she has recently accepted a promotion to become our new Key Account Specialist.
Kelly’s warm, friendly and spunky personality puts you at ease whether on the phone or in person. With a strong background in customer service, Kelly has a gift for helping and serving our customers. Before joining Christian Art Gifts, she spent 23 years working in customer service - in retail as well as a busy call center. Kelly also trained as an administrative assistant with a heavy focus on customer service prior to coming to CAG. In 2007, with the economy slipping, her story mirrors so many others that were laid off due to the economic downturn.
With prayerful consideration, Kelly weeded through job postings and sought to find another position that suited her skill set – but she wasn’t just looking for any job. Kelly was looking for a company that cared about their employees and offered products that she believed in. When she saw a job listing for a Customer Service Representative at Christian Art Gifts, she felt her prayers were answered. Excited about the company, our products, the location close to home and the employees she met, she enthusiastically accepted the position. Kelly’s long background in customer service made her a natural fit for us.
Through the years, Kelly has been a tremendous blessing to our company, the sales representatives she assists and the customers she supports daily. Her warm-hearted personality, extensive knowledge of our products and her service driven attitude is inspiring to those around her. Kelly shares, “It is a wonderful feeling to know that each and every day at CAG, I get the opportunity to distribute the Word of God out to the public with inspiring and encouraging products.” Her love for our products and the people she works with is evident in all she does.
It was only fitting with Kelly’s experience and commitment that she moved into a Key Account position to focus on the more specific buying needs of our top buyers. She has handled the new challenges with ease. We are so happy that Kelly has found her home here as part of the Christian Art Gifts family.
